Blue Spirit Cosplay (OLD)

I can't believe I NEVER posted this.

Apparently when you google "Blue Spirit", this is usually the second or third image that pops up. When I discovered this I was like "BLLLARRRRGHHH WHAAAT!"

I am torn between being all "DUDE AWESOME MILLIONS OF STRANGERS HAVE SEEN MY BLUE SPIRIT COSPLAAAAY"

and also

"OH GOSH OH GOSH I WAS SUCH A NOOB I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS DOING THERE IS SO MUCH WRONG WITH THAT IT ALL NEEDS TO BE SCRAPPED ASIDE FROM THE SWORDS AND MASK AASHFDSKLJFDSLG"

This was 2007. I was JUST getting started in non-Halloween cosplay, and I had very limited resources and skills. The mask is still awesome, though. It hangs on the wall next to my bed.

I'm re-doing this this year for Prince Zuko's birthday--and I am going to do it up in STYLE. I'll also be doing the burn scar and hopefully the gold eyes to get the whole effect.

...now to figure out how the hell to bind my chest...
