My chosen faith is that of Christ, and so I will say to you all "Merry Christmas". I say this in the spirit of love and the hope of peace for the future, no matter our differences. I avoid the sterile "Happy Holidays" because I feel that the meaning I wish to communicate is best expressed by the reference to Christ's birth—an event which, to me, second only to another, is the most singular in all the history of the world in the expression of the ultimate worth of and the love for all Mankind.

What I'm trying to say is, I suppose--I don't know any other way to say "I love you, and I want peace and joy for you" than to wish you a joyous Christmas.

So--peace to all of you, dear friends, in all that you believe and hope for.

Instead of being asleep like I REALLY REALLY want to be, I am posting this. Maybe it will help me sleep.

I'm taking off to attend ANIME BANZAI this weekend in good ol' Salt Lake City, and I hope to see some of you there!! Look for me--I'll be the one yelling at people (security--no kidding XD). I'll be dressed as Cougar from S-Cry-Ed and Sasarai from Suikoden III on Friday, and then switching over to my good ol' mainstay, Xigbar of Kingdom Hearts II for Saturday. Yeah. I need some pretty badly. I'm in school and working full time and I'm REALLY trying to make ends meet (not to mention still being sick)--so for the first time EVER I am opening up commissions.

On a side note--I hate it when people who get DDs are total jerks about it. Here they've been featured and are getting thousand of page views, and how do some of them react? By shutting down comments on the deviation and saying "Yeah, I'm not interested in what you stupid morons have to say" or some such.

Like, is a little grace SO hard to have? Personally, I'd kill for a DD. Not because I think I'm awesome, but because I crave praise like every other insecure little internet artist out there. Go on, tell me I'm awesome. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!

Honestly, if someone takes the time to praise you and present you to other people, do that person the favour of not acting like the proverbial jack-ass as a thank-you to the people who bother to take a look at your junk.
